Finally met some producers in the American Pavilion today to whom I could pitch “Valley of Sin” They loved the idea and asked to have the script so they could read it on the plane. I made arrangements to meet them later. One of them was Thadd, the Cowboy below. I came with him back to the American Pavilion where he had an appointment to do an interview for a French Film Magazine. It’s the kind of Mag that comes with a DVD full of documentaries and other goodies. The journalist, Cedric, was interested in my story as well, and I ended up giving a long interview myself - in FRENCH. Then we ended up chatting for an hour or so more before heading off to the 100 Years of Chinese Cinema Party. I gave one script to the cowboy, and another to a more conventionally dressed producer, Tim Abell. We’ll see what they think of it. |
